Precious Plastic Mauritius

Precious Plastic Mauritius aims to create a recycling economy and help the condition of the people living in the South-East of Mauritius who have been affected by the Wakashio Oil Spill and Covid-19.

They rely on an extraordinary involvement of the local community of Blue Bay. Their common thread is a commitment to solving the problem of plastic pollution in the Ocean.

Their mission is to overcome poverty and clean up plastics in the ocean by creating a plastic recycling economy.

 What they do:

House of Blue Founders, Deon and Kim, lovers of the ocean and all things active moved to Mauritius from Sydney Australia where they were very involved in Ocean conservation.

As well as providing the best swimwear and equipment to swimmers in Mauritius they also wished to continue to support ocean conservation and community.

Now together with arena they are super excited to be collaborating with Precious Plastic Mauritius to manufacture hand paddles made from plastic collected off the beaches of Mauritius.

Stand by for the launch of arena moulded hand paddles which will be available for purchase with all profits going to support the community based organisation Precious Plastic and their efforts to reuse and repurpose ocean plastic.
